Crow Wing County Reminds Landowners to Protect Their Groundwater

Nearly all of Crow Wing County’s residents rely on groundwater for their source of drinking water. Groundwater protection is identified as a priority in the new Crow Wing County Water Plan. The Crow Wing County Land Services Department wants to remind landowners of simple steps they can take to protect this resource as well as available resources to assist them.

Annual 5 mile companion dog walk held Saturday May 6th at the Nisswa Community Shelter and Paul Bunyan Trail. Registration starts at 9:30 am with walk at 10:00. All dogs must be current on vaccinations, get along well with people and dogs and can not be in heat. All dogs must be on a leash no longer than 6ft, no flexi leads allowed.

The theme for this event is "Back to the 50s". A pet and people costume contest will be held as well as a pet parade, a doggie dash and doggie musical chairs.... Join in the fun for a great time and prizes. A 50s lunch will be sold.
