Cars on the way to be parked in the grass were going through and damaging the North Star Apartments lower parking lot curb even though there was still room in the lot below it.
Looked like not very many from the audience car pooled or walked(other than from where they had parked).
A teacher speaking repeatedly used a word that I've personally worked at not using and that I've told students not to use.

Brainerd HRA's office and upper North StarApartments parking lots were resurfaced spring 2017. Part of the North Star upper lot was approved by the HRA to be rented to the organization / business next to it.
Free and open to public
10 am - Children's Day Parade. Children are invited to participate in their own parade that will navigate around Harrison School.
2 pm - Genealogy Program - Descendants of the Brainerd settlers at the Library.
4 pm - Downtown Brainerd History Walk. Meet at Brainerd Public Library (rain or shine) a few minutes prior to scheduled walk. There are no stairs or steep grades. Please wear appropriate walking shoes. We’ll be walking about 1.4 miles.
6-8 pm - Presentation on SE Brainerd followed with a walk about. Meet at Harrison School.
Saturday, June 17
10 am - Did you know that SE Brainerd once had an airport? Join us as we dedicate a marker for Rosko Field. Ceremony will take place at Shipman Auto Parts, 1711 SE 13th Street, Brainerd. You are encouraged to bring a lawn chair
2 - 4:30 pm - Enjoy at your leisure, a Centennial Birthday Celebration for the Crow Wing County Museum, along with a new display featuring the recent privy dig bottles. 320 Laurel Street, Brainerd.
2:30 pm - County/Society Ceremony & Re-dedication of the museum building.
1-5 pm - NP Center Tour. Guided tours will be scheduled every 30 minutes, starting at the Clock Tower building.
5-8 pm - Learn some River History as you participate in the Community Paddle down Mississippi River. Launch from Evergreen Cemetery Landing. $20/person to rent a kayak/canoe, or you are encouraged to bring your own. Call Brainerd Community Action for reservations and more information. 218-829-5278.
